Welcome to my sixth[6] newsletter. (Previous [5] [4] ). I hope this newsletter finds you well, and I appreciate all the continuous interest. It's been an exciting, fun few months. I was invited to the 6th annual Stonewall Equality Dinner in London on March 11th, an event to raise money for the Campaign For Partnership Rights in the UK. I was so inspired by the great work they are doing and proud that my donated photo "1700" raised £3,750 for the campaign. Then, as part of a photo assignment, I traveled to the Life Ball in Vienna, an event organized by Aids Life, one of the largest AIDS charities in Europe. The fundraiser is a fabulous celebration of fashion and creativity and took place on May 15th in front of the City Hall. One of my favorite photo assignments over the last few months was a wonderful discovery right here in London! For the in-flight magazine for US Airways, I photographed London's Regents Canal, a waterway that runs through the heart of London. I hope you enjoy my latest newsletter. Remember that if you sign up as a member, you have unlimited access to my full range of work, can download free desktop wallpapers and send ecards. *Unlimited members also receive exclusive advance notice of my latest prints for sale before they are made widely available. A signed copy of "1700" numbered 1/45 raised £3,750 ($6,735/€5,501) for Stonewall's Campaign For Partnership Rights during the Celebrity Auction at The 6th annual Stonewall Equality Dinner held at the Dorchester Hotel in London, on March 11th. Lord Andrew Comer of London, an entrepreneur and art collector was the winning bidder, which was one of the highest for any artwork during the auction. The event raised over £130,000 and was the most successful annual Dinner yet for the lesbian and gay charity. All the money raised will go towards Stonewall's major campaign to ensure that the Civil Partnership Bill has a safe passage through parliament later this year. The dinner was hosted by Amy Lame, recent star of ITV's Celebrity Fit Club, and heard keynote speeches from Sir Ian McKellen and London Mayor Ken Livingstone. |
