Newsletter No.[7] Winter 2004/5

Welcome to my seventh[7] newsletter. (Previous [6] [5])

I hope this newsletter finds you well, and I appreciate all the continuous interest.

After an adventurous summer in London, the rain and cold are back (of course :-) )but the buzz here is as thrilling as ever.
The summer was full of events, some of which I was commissioned to photograph. London's Regent Canal, London Gay Parade, Soho Parade and Amsterdam's Canal Parade were among the best, the last of which I shot for an upcoming issue of Attitude magazine.
I was also commissioned to shoot the photos for the new UK.GAY.COM advertising campaign which has been a big success and was featured in major publications like The Guardian daily newspaper and throughout the London Underground.

An exhibition at Prowler Soho celebrated the ongoing success of my book VIEWS. Thanks so much for everyone who made that possible and the overwhelming response.

I’m busy planning my next book, due to hit in the spring. And as always, I’ve been updating my website like crazy, so if you’d like to become a member and get full access to my latest work, click HERE.

New Book Set For Release in Spring 2005

Kobi is at work on his next book, Intimate Strangers, due for release in spring 2005. In his foreward text Kobi says "In November 2002 I moved from Tel Aviv to Soho. I was fascinated by the amount of "strangers" in a place where we are all "strangers", coming from abroad. I am a "foreigner" but so is everyone else in Soho - coming from another continent, another country or another county.... we are all foreigners among foreigners , everyone you lay your eyes on is a “foreigner”, a mystery, an enigma, and comes from “somewhere else”.

In a deliberately "snapshot" style, Kobi will share his experiences in London and his search for the secret intimate moments within day-to-day life and the "divine" that is hidden in all of us. Stay tuned for more details.
